I found the following information at this amateur geneology site (scroll quite far down):

Iris Veronica Mildred PAWSON

12 Dec 1886 - Q1 1982

BIRTH: 12 Dec 1886, Bramley (unclear which one, there are several in Yorkshire alone, but probably this one given its proximity to Farnley)

DEATH: Q1 1982, Brighton

Family 1: Ralph Lewis WEDGWOOD

24 Oct 1906, St Margaret Westminster, SW

CHILDREN: John Hamilton WEDGWOOD, Ralph Pawson W WEDGWOOD, Cicely Veronica WEDGWOOD

Lacking citations, this genealogical website essentially lacks both credibility and reliability. In response, we really can't include information based on this source. Cind.amuse 06:35, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- I strongly agree. That's why I hadn't added it to the article. There are lot of articles on Wikipedia already blighted by their reliance (and in many cases sole reliance) on these types of websites.

I've added the following two to the references. They might prove quite fruitful re Iris Wedgwood's background, but will require library research:

Iris's father was not only a naturalist, but also a local historian. Her daughter, Cicely Veronica Wedgwood, dedicated her book Thomas Wentworth, first earl of Strafford, 1593-1641: A revaluation to him and writes about her grandfather in the preface. Literary career?[edit]

If Iris Wedgwood was notable as an author, then why does the article contain ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about her literary career (beyond a simple listing of her books)? Hrafn^Talk_Stalk^(P) 03:38, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Because the reviews of her books either require subscription, e.g. [1], or research in an actual library. [2] It doesn't mean they don't exist, and can't/won't be added when editors get hold of them.
