GA review (see here for criteria)

A decent start, but needs some improvements.

  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose): b (MoS):
The route description seems a little dry, simply listing the towns and what intersections are present. The History section has several short paragraphs that can be combined.
Done RD completely rewritten. History combined.
  1. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
There are several areas of uncited information in the article. The only source in the route description as well as one of the history sources is a WP:SPS and thus not reliable.
Done SPSes have been removed and replaced with better sources.
Done Inserted citations for the length in the RD
  1. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
A little more information could be added for a 120-mile road, such as what landscapes it passes through. In addition, some more information is needed in the lead.
Done RD rewritten with more detail.
Question: Please be more specific with what you mean by "more information" is needed in the lead. According to WP:Lead, for an article of this length, one paragraph is sufficient.
A little more historical information can be added. ---Dough4872 16:34, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Added more about the 2008 floods. Found a road closure date as well. --Fredddie
  1. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  2. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  3. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
A picture of the road would be nice to have in the article.
Agree I whole-heartedly agree. I have looked and looked on Commons and on Flickr with no luck. Unfortunately, this is also a bad time of year to drive over 100 miles to take a picture of a highway.
  1. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
I will put this article on hold to allow for fixes to be made. ---Dough4872 02:35, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I will pass the article. ---Dough4872 01:33, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
