Route description needed[edit]

I would have written one myself, but I'd want to do it right, and I haven't driven the whole length of the road in quite a while (or at least haven't been to New Mexico in many years, which is the same problem).

I'll see if I can get at least a basic outline up there soon. Duncan1800 (talk) 23:16, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Don't worry; I will do the route description if you don't mind. ^_^ AL2TB ^_^ 05:51, 9 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good so far... Duncan1800 (talk) 17:59, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Please don't mind if this will take me a while to finish up the route description; I have stuff to do in real life (especially school). I'm a busy kid, ya know. :) ^_^ AL2TB ^_^ 00:55, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Finished! ^_^ AL2TB ^_^ 19:17, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nice job! I can expand/tweak it a little bit further based on my knowledge of the roads and the area, and will source as necessary. The "north of Denver" section needs a touch more love, as there's a lot of interchanges up there. Duncan1800 (talk) 04:25, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, thanks! And nice job on the history, too! The history is the hardest part in writing a road-related article after all. By the way, I'll expand the "north of Denver" section on the weekends if I have time. ^_^ AL2TB ^_^ 04:29, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You do realize...[edit]

That the map, informative as it is, is upside-down?

Last I checked, I had to drive north from Colorado Springs to reach Denver. Duncan1800 (talk) 23:44, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have created a secondary map of I-25 in Colorado image:I-25 (CO) map.svg, if there's any interest. 25or6to4 (talk) 03:46, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GA review (see here for criteria)

  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose): b (MoS):
The route description seems very dry and repetitive, I-25 is used in almost every sentence. In addition, there are WP:MOSBOLD violations throughout the prose and many short one-sentence paragraphs.
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
There are large areas of uncited information throughout the article.
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
Some more information could be added to the article.
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
Right now, the article appears to have major issues regarding the prose and sourcing, these issues should be addressed before taking the article GAN. Therefore, I will have to fail the article. The article may be renominated when these issues are taken care of. ---Dough4872 02:01, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
