Hi there,

First time user here....

INPROL is, like many of the organizations listed on Wiki, a legitimate project that is worth being described here. If not, why are the United Nations, USInstitute of Peace, etc. listed in Wiki? Not trying to be "smart" just trying to understand the distinction. I would not qualify it as blatantly advertising, because the membership of INPROL is very selective and the initiative is not for profit. Therefore, a very select few of Wiki's users will actually qualify for membership. To further disconnect the advertisement of INPROL, I have removed the original section on "membership" and focused on the core functions of INPROL, which will be expanded upon in time.

Any suggestions on how to edit this further are welcome.

For starters, read Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies). This organization may be legitimate without being notable. The United Nations is universally acknowledged to be notable, regardless of what you think of the organization. Advertisement doesn't mean just trying to get Wikipedians to join; it also means creating articles whose purpose is to publicize the group, rather than to provide impartial information from unbiased third-party sources. --Orange Mike | Talk 23:40, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
