The clinical relevance of the internal vertebral plexus isn't mentioned, however it should be: the anastomoses of the Internal venous plexus with the pelvic venous plexus (the ovarian/testicular and prostatic) can give metastases to the vertebral coloumn because of the lack of venous valves - the blood can flow upwards from the pelvic venous system. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.98.158.114 (talk) 17:00, 26 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
