Nicole Kidman now a comedienne ?

Who added this ? It's going to be impossible to source, because it's not true.

I will revert this immediately. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.75.41.178 (talk) 04:00, 4 June 2011 (UTC)

Are most of these insult comics?

It seems like a lot of comics listed here are just regular comics who maybe appeared on a roast here and there. Insult comic is a pretty specific genre. Guys like Don Rickles and Lisa Lampinelli are insult comics. Greg Giraldo's a guy who talked about everything but got famous doing some roasts. Daniel Tosh and Kathy Griffin's inclusion here seems almost random. And so on.Frogacuda (talk) 01:27, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

I have to agree that too many of the comics on the list seem to be there for no reason other then they did some insult jokes at a roast once or occasionally did insult comedy. Unless insult comedy is their main schtick then a comedians does not belong on the list. I think that only comedians who are identified specifically as insult comics by notable sources should be on the list. --67.101.218.205 (talk) 09:17, 4 July 2013 (UTC)
It has gotten worse. It seems as if the list has expanded to include any comedian who is capable of delivering a good smack down to hecklers. That is not the same thing as a comedian who notable for making insult comedy subgenre a significant and recurring part of their routine. If anyone is serious about improving this article they should find good sources to at least verify that these people are considered insult comics and preferable high quality sources to prove they are particularly WP:NOTABLE examples, and decimate the rest. -- 109.78.204.208 (talk) 01:29, 5 July 2021 (UTC)
