To not merge given improvements, objections and stale discussion with no consensus to merge

This article has been proposed for deletion by Piotrus with the following rationale: "The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline requirement nor the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (media) supplement. WP:BEFORE did not reveal any significant coverage on Gnews, Gbooks or Gscholar."

I did not see more significant coverage in a quick search myself and agree that the topic does not meet WP:GNG as a stand-alone article as long as noone can point me to more secondary sources. There is, however, a decent one-paragraph review in Dragon magazine #190, so there is coverage in one secondary sources which I think should be WP:PRESERVEd. Not being very familiar with the topic I suggest Warhammer 40,000#Spin-off games, novels, and other media as a merge target for that. I am very much open to better target susggestions. Daranios, By Dragon, do you mean Swan (1993)? I think you forgot to add the publisher name to the ref? Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 02:21, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Piotrus: I think that got mixed up in the further expansion of the article, and I forgot the publisher. Thanks for the tip! I have added it now, I hope it's ok like this. Daranios (talk) 08:47, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Daranios, Thanks. Nice expansion, but the article still has big issue with stand alone notability. A merger to WH40K makes some sense, at the same time this is such a minor part of the universe, merging all the content you added would be UNDUE. Sigh... what to do... I'd hate to waste your effort in expanding this. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 09:15, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I just want to say that earlier today I needed to look up "the old armorcast magazine" and getting this page at top of Google was extremely helpful. Master Forcide (talk) 21:43, 19 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
