This page is not unambiguously promotional, because it contains no product information whatsoever. In fact the information included in this article is purely academic in nature and is not intended to promote any products or services of any kind. The references to companies in this article serve only to provide real-world examples of how the topics being discussed can be and are applied. The products and services of these companies are not mentioned, only the way in which they utilized the concepts being discussed. Mschukra (talk) 00:40, 19 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I was referring to advertising this idea, as the article is not written neutrally and doesn't contain any in-line references. --Jethro B 01:49, 19 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your opinion. Can you please elaborate with respect to the article not containing any in-line references? I'm not sure I understand, as there are parenthetical references throughout the entire article. I would also like to articulate that this article is written neutrally. If you are referring to the overview section, I am not trying to champion innovation leadership, but rather point out why it is a relevant topic since it is a relatively knew concept compared to other concepts related to industrial/organizational psychology. Additionally, this article reflects the views and findings of experts in the field who have written articles in peer reviewed journals on this topic. What I have written in this article is not my own opinion. This article was written to educate those interested in learning about another aspect of leadership that is emerging. The preferred way of sourcing an article is to have inline citations. Rather than a list of references, as you have, at the bottom, you connect each reference to a particular assertion in the article with a footnote. Otherwise, it makes it difficult for the reader to trust that each piece of the material is backed up by a reliable source, and it helps the reader know which source supports which material.--Bbb23 (talk) 23:32, 19 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, Bbb23. I will make this change at my earliest convenience, as per your suggestion. Mschukra (talk) 01:02, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Possible sources[edit]

I wasn't sure this was a concept outside this article, but I found this source that might be useful.
