Inkworld trilogy → Inkheart trilogy — - See the front cover of Inkdeath, at File:Inkdeathcover.jpg; on this can clearly be seen that it calls itself "The stunning conclusion to the bestselling Inkheart trilogy". --Darth Newdar ^talk 18:33, 7 November 2009 (UTC) ~~Oppose~~ Don't judge a book by it's cover... I think in interviews, Cornelia Funke has always referred to it as 'Inkword'. Inkheart is the first book in the series. Well, I'll move through your links. Firstly, the Amazon one. That list is a "Listmania", a list by a user and the title is what he has decided to call it (probably after reading the Wikipedia article!) I have found Amazon listing it as the Inkheart trilogy here, and if you use Amazon's "Look inside" feature, you can see that it is referred to as the Inkheart trilogy on the front flap as well. On Funke's website, it is referred to as "the Inkworld", but that just refers to the fictional world, not what she calls the trilogy. Like you, I'm not sure what she means by referring to it as the "Ink-trilogy" – perhaps it's a translation of her German website? Anyway, I think that the cover is an important piece of information, and as we can't find anything calling it the "Inkworld trilogy", we should at least move it from that, definitely incorrect, title. My mistake on the Amazon site, I assumed the list was made by the site itself. And I agree about Cornelia Funke's website being inconsistant. I think, to be honest, is that the simple answer is that the trilogy does not have any definitive name - in German it is known as the Tintenwelt-Trilogie, which translates as Inkworld trilogy, and Ink-trilogy must be an alternative name as well. But since my copy of Inkspell uses "Inkheart trilogy" as well as Inkdeath, changing my position to support. 84.92.117.93 (talk) 20:51, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The translation of the German is probably where the title of the article came from – but as I note above, no English translation calls it the Inkworld trilogy, and the English title of the trilogy must be what the article should be named. Darth Newdar ^talk 14:49, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Inkheart trilogy → Inkheart series – There are more than three books, the name should be altered accordingly. The lead already acknowledges that it was originally a trilogy, but is now the "Inkheart series". ~BappleBusiness^[talk] 23:09, 2 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
