AfC discussion[edit]

This submission has good information but seems to be original research to some degree. There are also some problems with the tone and neutrality of the language. I'm going to ask at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Physics in case they have any suggestions. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 10:21, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notifying WP:WikiProject Chemistry would be a good idea too. I don't have time to give my opinion right now, but I would have time later this week (if you don't get any feedback). I don't know how hard that 24 hour limit is, but I would consider extending it for a few days if you don't get any feedback (I agree that the tone seems weird, but that may be possible to fix). Okay, I can do that. It looked my physicsy to me, but I wouldn't really know. The 24 thing is flexible, and more like a lower limit. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 10:53, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Good morning, Martin

I am glad to see the state of my contribution has been changed. I appreciate very much for your editing effort.

I checked the definition of “original research” and I have to say my contribution is not in that category. My purpose is just to give a very general introduction on the topic of “induction plasma technology”. You may understand the "original" scientific research work in this field will appear very abstruse and “forbidden” for ordinary readers.

However, as the first try to contribute to Wikipedia, I may be not good enough to use the “neutral tone” as the Wiki requested. I should be well content to accept your modification and polishing wherever you deem proper.

Sincerely Yours

Xfanplasma

Okay, maybe "original research" was not accurate. It seemed to be written in the style of an essay rather than an encyclopedia article, but I accept that you are new here! I think it's looking pretty good now. I would just like to get the opinion of a relevant wikiproject before moving it across. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 10:58, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

JPEG photos[edit]

The right hand part of the composite jpeg seems to be upside down. This is the blue-colored one (the orange one is fine.) ICP plasmas resemble a candle flame, stable at the bottom and within the coil, rising upwards like a flame, and chaotic at the top. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.254.18.119 (talk) 06:51, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
