Merge copied from Talk:List of aviation, aerospace and aeronautical terms[edit]

I've been thinking, and I believe that this page and List of aviation, aerospace and aeronautical terms should be merged into one article. I think the new article should be titled Index of aviation, aerospace and aeronautical topics and should be limited in what is allowed an entry. I think the page should be treated as a repository for terms not requiring a separate article, a place to link to if your page wants to tell the reader what "Available seat miles" means, but not in the source article itself. Therefore items such as Accidents and incidents in aviation would not have an entry. If there were any items removed from the new page, they might find a home at List of aeronautical abbreviations, which I am also proposing be renamed Glossary of aviation, aerospace and aeronautical abbreviations - a sister page if you will. - Trevor MacInnis (Contribs) 20:53, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
