AFD on manufacturer Alice Soundtech[edit]

There's an AFD on Alice Soundtech, a leading UK supplier of studio and transmission equipment for RSL radio stations, from mixing consoles to AM/FM transmitters, based in Surrey. ILR doesn't exist anymore[edit]

ILR doesn't exist anymore. It was a term attributed to these commercial stations by the then IBA, it is no longer used by anyone except radio anoraks. Could those writing radio articles pleas stop using it.

First ILR frequency split[edit]

The article stated that Sabras Sound was the first split in 1988. This is not correct, firstly as Sabras Sound didn't launch as a station in its own right until 1995. Secondly, Leicester Sound's first permanent AM split was actually Gem AM, launched in tandem with Radio Trent in 1988. Sabras was the name of a programme broadcast on LS's AM freqs as part of an experimental part time split service prior to the Gem AM launch, but this was also not the first experimental split, which was in fact Radio Forth's Festival City Radio in 1983.
