There seem to be multiple contradictions between this article and that for Sir Hari Singh. Specifically, this article says that there was no formal Imperial War Cabinet in the Second World War, but Sir Hari Singh's article states that he was a member of it from 1944 to 1946. In addition the reference to Sir Hari Singh as a member in this article use his WWII-era style and rank, rather than his WWI-era style and rank (Lt General and ruling Maharajah vs Captain and heir - quite a difference). All other listed members are clearly WWI era, but Sir Hari Singh was a young man of limited experience in WWI. Clarification is needed.

The listing of several representatives for India suggests some sort of organised representative grouping, but presumably that would have been as delegates representing the Viceroy (Lord Chelmsford), or the Secretary of State for India (Austen Chamberlain for the 1917 conference, Edwin Samuel Montagu for the 1918), the lack of explanation makes their presence in the Cabinet difficult to fully interpret. The article has a blanket reference to 'other senior politicians', but the nature of the government of India elevates the Secretary of State and the Viceroy to a significance similar to that of the Dominion PMs. Listing the PM of Newfoundland, but not the de facto ruler of India seems rather inconsistent. 92.238.224.101 (talk) 04:50, 7 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Has this website been approved by Wikipedia administration? I ask because I tried to link to it and was thrown off. RE the above: Lord Milner and Lloyd George created an Imperial War Cabinet in late 1916 to coordinate war strategy (insiders say it was about the manpower problem). It only met twice, once in 1917 and once in 1918. If it was to be reconstituted in WWII, Winston Churchill would probably have been involved. There were, 'Commonwealth Prime Minister Conferences' held, but nothing I know of on the scale of World War I. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.5.237.153 (talk) 00:17, 13 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A helper: You shouldn't have a problem linking. Try it again, and then give us details. I agree that the IWC was created by LM & LG, although it did meet three times. The last time, in late 1918, was a rushed arrangement because of the war's end. Also, Churchill formed a small LG like war cabinet; he wasn't about changing something that worked right.
