Stub[edit]

This seems like a pretty comprehensive article - does it still deserve to be identified as a stub? --Prainog 20:37, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I say, yes, it does. At the moment the article explains how it works and how it was used. While of course this is important, and all very nice, there is still a lot missing: Who invented it? When did it go into production? By what company/ies? What was the period of production? How many of these machines were built/sold? How widespread was their use? In what geographic areas? When recharging why does Ammonia liquify in the cold ball ?[edit]

When recharging, Hot ball is heated and cold ball is SIMPLY DIPPED IN COOL WATER. Does that provide -30 c temp needed to liquify ammonia ? Massive Revert[edit]

When I found this article today, there was quite a bit missing. (See my earlier comment above Re: Stub.) After going through the history of the article I decided that it must have been an accidental deletion by IP 120.145.161.68.
