Talk page archive[edit]

I've archived all the discussions from 2006-2009. There is a lot of important material there, but all of it is at least a year old. You can easily see it on the archive page, which you can reach via the box to the right. --Lou Sander (talk) 16:17, 18 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

More skaters?[edit]

I've added some more skaters to the main article. Their names are from the program for the 50th Anniversary Reunion. I've seen it, but I don't have a citation for it yet. I'll put it in the article once I've found a citation. Jane Kirby is a legitimate champion and a legitimate Ice Capades performer; she just doesn't have a Wikipedia article yet. --Lou Sander (talk) 01:05, 19 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Figure skating at hockey games[edit]

I found a good source for this, and put it in the article. The source even includes the date and nature of the critical hockey game. Lou Sander (talk) 00:49, 13 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"Widely parodied"[edit]

Can we find evidence for the claim that Ice Capades has been "widely parodied"? I have no idea whether it has been, hence me not removing the claim -- but we're currently only showing support for two cartoons by Gary Larson, so the article doesn't really support the "widely" idea. I can't find a secondary source showing it myself, so I've added a "citation needed" request for that specific statement. Beginning (talk) 09:46, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
