Formatting?[edit]

I was just reading this page and noticed the terrible formatting on the Climate section. I have no idea how to fix it. Anyone please? 99.107.159.25 (talk) 04:29, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ibiza TownIbiza (town) – I don't know if in English the town of Ibiza is called "Ibiza Town" and for this reason I open the requested move avoiding to move the page manually. The question is this: The name of the town is simply Ibiza (spanish) and Evissa (catalan). So, if this "Town" would be simply a "disambiguation", and not the English name (as Kuwait City, Mexico City, Prague, Warsaw etc etc etc) it is wrong, because the standard form is "Ibiza (town)" or, at least, "Ibiza (city)". Of course, not "Ibiza, Spain" or similar because could be also ambiguous with the island. Thanks for the eventual sourced infos by English-native speakers, because I really don't know if this could be or not the English name. Regards. • Comment to me it looks "wrong" but it does get 3,400 English GBhits to 1,380 for "town of Ibiza". Not sure. In ictu oculi (talk) 01:33, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Is IMHO normal that Google shows lots of results for the "town of Ibiza", as for the "city of Rome". The question is... hmmm... if English geo atlases have "Ibiza Town" as they have The Hague instead of Den Haag... for example. Regards. --Dэя-Бøяg 03:02, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yes but that was a books search not webpages. again with "of" it looks ugly but is used a lot in books. Atlases we only use paragraph text, not map names. This is a little different from other current Iberian moves at WP:RM. In ictu oculi (talk) 02:07, 17 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

User:Article editor - Why do you support the move? RM requests are not strictly a vote, so you need to give a reason really. Do you have some evidence that Ibiza Town is not the common name? Thanks  — Amakuru (talk) 22:35, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Per the naming conventions on disambiguating place names. I also think the "argument" using GBhits to compare "Ibiza Town" and the "town of Ibiza" is inaccurate since it doesn't take into account the fact that some sources may just call the town "Ibiza" without the word "town" at all. I've also seen it written "Ibiza town", which is different from "Ibiza Town". --Article editor (talk) 23:14, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nom. The current title is written as a proper name but the proper name is simply "Ibiza". —  AjaxSmack  03:03, 17 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ibiza, Spain (city)Ibiza (city) – "Spain" disambiguation is unnecessary, no other city has this name. LunaValoäa (talk) 14:35, 25 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
