Is it real?[edit]

Isn't it the working title of "Wintersmith"?

It's the working (rumoured?) title of the fourth book in the Wintersmith series. H. Carver 17:24, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think it would be better to notice information, which is located somewhere in 'Equal Rites' (maybe, on russian page), that in 'this' book Eskarina Smith will reappear. Annonymous. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.255.152.13 (talk) 02:03, 3 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Will he complete it[edit]

Is there any news on the status of this book now he's afflicted with Alzheimer's? 59.92.69.116 (talk) 05:41, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Terry is only in the VERY, VERY EARLY stages of a form of Alzheimer's and his writing isn't currently affected by it at all. With care and suitable medical treatment he should be able to stave off the worst of it for quite some time. Gaunt 10:10, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

He was interviewed by the BBC today, and he said he'd just sent his latest book to both his UK and US publishers, so we should have at the very least this book. KTo288 (talk) 13:45, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That book was the non-Discworld Nation. He's currently working on Unseen Academicals. I think the article needs rewritten to reflect the fact that I Shall Wear Midnight is not the next book, nor the one after that... and if he decides he wants to do Raising Taxes next, it may not be the one after that either.
(And yes, as the above shows, the Alzheimer's does not appear to be slowing him down...) Daibhid C (talk) 20:09, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately the Alzheimer's is slowing Mr Pratchett down, because he has lost the ability to touch type, and his spelling is erratic. Sometimes even hunt-and-peck typing fails him. I understand that he has taken up dictating at least some of his work, which not only is slower, but it also hurts the creative process (at least for him). Limeguin (talk) 14:16, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Not any more! The next book Snuff, is almost 2/3 complete, he says that it's the fastest he's written a book in years. He's usinmg new software to write, and his PA Rob Wilkins to read back which is speeding things up immensely chrisboote (talk) 13:00, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cover art changed?[edit]

Can't help but notice that the artwork on Paul Kidby's news page has different artwork to that depicted here (and on Amazon, etc) - the 'new' art can be seen here:

http://paulkidby.com/news/

Or is that artwork perhaps unique to the proof copy?--Gaunt (talk) 22:10, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

it is pretty common that books that are publish round the world have different cover deepening on what country the are publish it may be that one is for uk the other one for US --Andri12 (talk) 22:51, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tiffany's age[edit]

Can someone please state Tiffany's correct age in the book and add it in with a ref. It's better to say if she is clearly sixteen or fifteen, rather than 'nearly' one or the other.
