Page Flip Effect in .iba[edit]

Hi,

Can any one let me know that, is there any possibilities to make page flip effect in iBooks Author? just like ePub works. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alishalim (talkcontribs) 07:37, 25 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Out of date[edit]

This page is out of date - request permission to update the page with info related to the new updates to iBooks Author that have been released but aren't listed here, as well as the iBooks Author Conference which just took place. BMetrock (talk) 16:28, 21 October 2015 (UTC)BMetrock[reply]

You'll be able to do so yourself. It looks like your account will be automatically confirmed in a few hours. You need 4 days and 10 edits. You have the 10 edits, and 4 days have elapsed, or nearly so. ~Amatulić (talk) 19:56, 21 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
OK, great, thanks. Made the proposed edits as stated and will keep an eye on the page to add version 2.5 information once that comes out, or to add any major articles written about the software. BMetrock (talk) 04:54, 23 October 2015 (UTC)BMetrock[reply]
upper right summary box still lists old version rather than 2.5 released 2016-08-20. would update it myself, but only recently registered for full access. Jmichael2497 (talk) 21:08, 18 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Someone please fix:[edit]

Misleading initial sentence. (because Versions 2.3 and later of iBooks Author support importing EPUB and exporting EPUB 3.0. [1])--50.201.195.170 (talk) 16:51, October 2019

The sentence isn't misleading; introducing their own format was a key feature of iBooks Author that was highlighted in multiple reviews. The body of the article mentions that an update introduced EPUB compatibility, but that detail doesn't seem relevant enough for the lead. Huon (talk) 23:42, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

No, "iBooks Author (iBA) is an e-book authoring application by Apple Inc. Books created with iBooks Author export as .ibooks files and can be published to the Apple iBooks Store, or they may be exported as PDF or EPUB." would be better. Too: "iBooks Author (iBA) is an e-book authoring application by Apple Inc. Books created with iBooks Author can be saved as .ibooks files for publication to the Apple iBooks Store, and may be exported into other formats." would be better."--50.201.195.170 (talk) 00:19, 5 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Still supported[edit]

Please someone update the version number of this app. Its currently 2.6.1 (released in 2018) but the article still shows it at 2.4. — Preceding unsigned comment NOT added by 50.201.195.170 (talk) 16:51, 30 October 2019. (UTC) --Special:Contributions/2001:e68:5434:fb33:e0e7:6681:b48c:dd29 29 Oct.

By turning this back into a help-me request, you've effectively ensured that it will be treated as a "not done" edit request. Providing a reference that is not Apple talking about its own product is probably a requirement before an independent editor will consider doing anything. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 17:23, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree, in particular, I stand by my edit summary. When it comes to removing/correcting a misleading statement, you should be wrong. Also, the attribution you added above was false. --50.201.195.170 (talk) 18:53, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
