Proposal: Merge all of the 1400-series articles into one[edit]

It would be difficult to add detail to this article without duplicating much of the IBM 1401 article. Do we really need them both? Do we really need IBM 1401 and IBM 1400 series? I don't think so. Jeh (talk) 07:08, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose on the grounds that the merging them all to one page would make that page cumbersome. IBM 1401 seems independently notable. In addition to the IBM 1410 article, we'd also have to consider IBM 1440, IBM 7010 and more material on the others in the series. So, current structure seems to work.
