Allowance for pages existence[edit]

This page has existed since October 9, 2006. Although referenced in the survey on Earth-Two related articles on Wikiproject Comics, this article along with Superman (Kal-L) and Batman (Earth-Two) preceded said survey and no consensus has been established for nor against this particular article. The article in question is Robin (Earth-Two) of which an RFC has just been issued, and by extension Wonder Woman (Earth-Two) and Lex Luthor (Earth-One). Those are the articles in contention, not this.Netkinetic | T / C / @ 05:46, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Restoring article - Please discuss[edit]

Discussion relating to merging Huntress (Helena Bertinelli) into Huntress (comics) seems to indicate a preference to allow the former article to continue to exist. This article was created prior to that article under the same premise and with a similar amount of content. Please discuss the merits on this particular article as to why it may/may not qualify as an independent article. There has never been specific discussion relating to this particular article and (as established from discussion on the Huntress (comics) talk page) the other versions of Huntress are separate characters. Paula Brooks and Helena Bertinelli merit articles. What makes this article different? Thank you for your time. Netkinetic (t/c/@) 02:27, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Helena wayne.JPG[edit]

Image:Helena wayne.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:12, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox image issue[edit]

Huntress Wayne.JPG, the current infobox image has one or more issues in regard to the non-free content criteria policy, non-free content guidelines, and/or Comics Project infobox image guidelines. These issue(s) are:

  • Fair Use Rationale (FUR) - The FUR for the image needs to include
    1. Why it is used in this article,
    2. Where the file was obtained from (what website or personal scan/capture), and
    3. Where was the image originally published or used?

In this case there is almost no sourcing of the image.

Please keep in mind that image taken from source like DC's Who's Who or Marvel's Official Handbook to the Marvel Universe cannot be used within the article.

The issue with regard to the infobox image has been addressed.- J Greb (talk) 23:24, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Image was deleted for lack of source 2010-10-16 - J Greb (talk) 23:06, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

NOT the second DC character called Huntress[edit]

Helena Wayne was NOT the second DC character named Huntress. Aside from Paula Brooks there was another villain named Huntress in DC comics. She appeared in Aquaman #26 (April 1966 cover date), over a decade before Helena Wayne's debut in All-Star Comics #69 (December 1977).--Khajidha (talk) 01:13, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
