Spain's and the Papal States' participation[edit]

Any participation in this war of Spain and the Papal States is mentioned nowhere in this article or any of the articles of the battles of this war. Additionally, I find it unlikely that they would participate in this war, because they were fighting the War of the League of Cognac at this time (1526-1530), in which the Spanish were heavily committed, and in which the Papal States was defending its home territory and capital city itself (which was sacked). Well, it has been 2 and a half years, and no sources or proof of any kind have been provided to show that Spanish and Papal forces actually fought in this campaign. Therefore, I will go ahead and remove them from the infobox, along with Charles V, who was in Western Europe taking care of his wars over there and likely had nothing to do with this campaign, which was commanded by his brother Ferdinand. 7000 casualties[edit]

I've removed this as a recent addition without any source. 2.48.61.230 (talk) 02:48, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
