Diseases

I shortened the section on diseases, because it only mentioned two specific diseases (albinism and leucoderma). What makes these two conditions special enough to warant their inclusion in this section. I think a real section on diseases should contain some kind of classification of diseases with links to their own wiki pages.Rubybrian (talk)

Questions

I have been looking everywhere for the truth: exactly how much dead skin is on a person at one time, and how much do they shed in a year? I've read everything from half a pound up to nine pounds, but I can't find any reliable sources. Skin renewal

I've heard that a 3 hour period, from 10pm-1am or 11pm-2am, is the time when skin cell renewal and regeneration is greatest during sleep. Is this true? Are there any medical studies showing evidence for it? If it's true, which one is the right period? 10pm-1am or 11pm-2am? Wsmss (talk) 22:56, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

Style

I changed "Oxyhemoglobin: Also found in blood and is not a pigment of the skin. It develops a red color." to "Oxyhemoglobin: It is also found in blood and is not a pigment of the skin. It develops a red color." (section Pigments) and I got changed back.
