Hughes CommunicationsHughes Network Systems – Hughes Network Systems exists as a redirect to the current page, but Hughes Network Systems is the name of the company. requesting here as to not interfere with the former redirect's page history. it looks like it was merged a few years ago from HNS. Melodies1917 (talk) 14:51, 28 March 2019 (UTC) --Relisting.  — Amakuru (talk) 09:47, 10 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Melodies1917: Before I venture here, what is the difference and relation between the companies Hughes Network Systems and Hughes Communications? Page Hughes Network Systems is a redirect which has a long edit history. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 16:28, 28 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support Looks like they changed their name back, I think. Echostar is calling them Hughes Network Systems. Safrolic (talk) 02:51, 11 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
yeah basically from what ive found (like here) is that before being purchased by EchoStar, Hughes was a publicly traded company called Hughes Communications, Inc. Hughes Network Systems seems to be a subisidiary of Hughes Communications and the first is what the article is appears to be about.Melodies1917 (talk) 15:54, 11 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
