Hoyt Street – Fulton Mall (IRT Eastern Parkway Line) → Hoyt Street (IRT Eastern Parkway Line) – The naming convention for WikiProject New York City Public Transportation says to use the official map for station names. The map no longer includes the Fulton Mall suffix so this article should be moved. Acps110 ^{(talk • contribs)} 17:03, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Comment - If that's the new name, I'm afraid I'd have to support the move, but that doesn't mean I like it. And the reason for that is the other Hoyt Street Station, a.k.a.; Hoyt–Schermerhorn Streets (New York City Subway). ----DanTD (talk) 15:13, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hoyt Street-Fulton Mall[edit]

I went along with the rename of this article five years ago, but there's one sentence I'd like to add to the history;

"Due to the presence of the Fulton Mall above ground, the station was renamed Hoyt Street-Fulton Mall. The "Fulton Mall" suffix was dropped in 2011."
