I've added citations and deleted tags: there is no question in my view about the notability of this person. Why did RussBot tag this article the moment it was created?

I restored the tags in the article; note that I generated them (not a bot). I do not see anything in the article or references that meets WP:CREATIVE or WP:GNG. The references in the article now are either primary sources or unreliable. Are there references out there, from unrelated reliable sources, that are about the subject of this article? Regards! So references published by the Oxford University and Cambridge Uiversity Presses are not "reliable"? Please!

They are primary sources, which is a different problem than that of the sources that are not reliable (for example, blogspot). They do not establish notability. Dr Rubenstein is notable for his translations of the plays by Aeschylus and Euripides, which are cited in two scholarly histories of Greek drama and have been acclaimed by classical scholars Oliver Taplin and J.P. Easterling. There is no disputng this (and to be doubly sure I have personally contacted both authorities). He is also notable as a playwright although perhaps less so.
