I just can't get a break with this page, can I? First I publish it, and I am told I am violating copyright by quoting my own work. Then when it is finally allowed, I am told it needs to be cleaned up. Well, someone else do it. Aesculapius75 09:37, 1 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

When will this show up again? There is no copyright violation. This is so annoying. -- Aesculapius75

I am the author of the material on Amazon.com from which this page about "House of Incest" is based. -- Aesculapius75

If you are, then I suggest you mention it at Wikipedia:Copyright problems as per point 2 of the Possible Copyright Violation notice which now replaces the article. I would also recommend signing your posts. --TheParanoidOne 2 July 2005 20:42 (UTC)

on language and incest[edit]

"House of Incest", and the Diaries too, have originally been written and published in English, though Nin was living in France at the time. I therefore suggest to write "english" in the infobox and to correct the erroneous information about the "US translation" edition by Gemor Press (it is only an american edition, not translation). It seems like Gemor Press was Nin's own printing press as well.

Also, I would like to mention that in the expurged diaries, it is not said that Nin's analyst (neither Allendy nor Rank) have ever encouraged the incestuous sexual relations with her father before it happened, though she seaked -- and found --- "absolution" from Rank afterwards. The sentence in the article about it is ambiguous. --132.208.50.6 22:22, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Houseofincest.jpg[edit]

Image:Houseofincest.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:55, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
