Molecules of solid solution series[edit]

"Hornblende is an isomorphous mixture of three molecules; a calcium-iron-magnesium silicate, an aluminium-iron-magnesium silicate, and an iron-magnesium silicate. "

This is actually pretty unhelpful as it stands. It doesn't explain where alkali metals come in to the composition, nor the halogen/hydroxide. At the very least, the actual formulas for the molecules ought to be included here. --Kent G. Budge (talk) 14:05, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
