This is an advertisement[edit]

This article is nothing more than an advertisement for software of questionable notability. I almost nominated it for speedy deletion, but figured adding two tags might get the message across for someone with the time and familiarity with the software to rewrite it well. I got to this article from Comparison_of_accounting_software. I didn't knew HomeBank before and from first impressions this software looks pretty notable to me. Anyway i am thankful for finding it here and can imagine other would find it useful too. I am no wikipedia expert, but one useful part for which i regularly visit wikipedia are the comparison charts for various software categories to dig up something matching my needs. To prevent deletion i digged up a Linux.com article. Don't know if this is sufficient, but there are other references to HomeBank out there. According to the homepage it has a 13 years development history and is still actively developed. All in all this does not seem to be some self hyped kiddo weekend project. HomeBank is originally Amiga softwareand is developed mostly by french speakers. This may explain the low number of contributors to this article. --DuLithgow (talk) 20:18, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
