IKEA[edit]

"In January 2006 IKEA announced their intention to build a 25,800 m2 store and in May 2006 amended their application for a 29,000 m2 store."

I thought IKEA were intending to use an existing empty building, not build their own? Stu ^{’Bout ye!} 14:33, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure. I was just going by the BBC News report. However there's is nothing this size at Holywood Exchange. The unoccupied buildings are 11 retail warehouse units, which are 13,940 m2 in total, IKEA want a 29,000m2 store. Also you don't need planning permission for an existing building (unless you are altering it). Mark83 16:48, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
