Concept car[edit]

For a car to be a concept car is has to have a concept in mind. What was that concept? To me it looks like just a hot rod and isn't actually a concept car at all. --Falcadore (talk) 04:48, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

While I partly agree with you on the terming, the vehicle has been referred to as a 'concept car' in Holden's Corporate PRs as well as major international auto shows and awards. Going by Wikipedia's definition of 'concept car', the Efijy fits just fine. It's a vehicle that showcases technology as well as radical design philosophies which may or may not reach production. There have been many design-study and technology-showcasing concept cars over the years with retro-inspired design. Chevy's Nomad concept of 1999 leaps to mind. Food for thought. Question about Pop Culture References[edit]

I'm not sure if it would be appropriate to add or not, but it is also featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as the Albany Hermes. Also other appearances in:

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories

GTA Vice City (including the Hermes) came out in 2002. The Holden Efijy, according to this article, is from 2005. Basic mathematics suggests that the Hermes is not based on the Efijy. --Badger151 (talk) 18:12, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry but it would not be appropriate to add. In fact the pop culture section as a whole should not have been included. I just removed it, as Wikipedia's manual of style says to avoid such sections unless the information is particularly relevant to the car, for instance having a large influence on the sales or public image of a car.
