Interested in contacting Professor Smith for a science problem[edit]

Based on his age and the problem, would like to contact him soon. Anyone have guidance to contact him? Think he would be intrugued with the issue! Has to do with a very old discoveruy of his. TCO (talk) 04:21, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I would suggest contacting the University of Colorado at Boulder, Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. He is still listed on their Faculty as Professor Emeritus: http://ebio.colorado.edu/index.php/people-faculty/people-emeritus?view=employee&id=47 with an email of hobart.smith@colorado.edu So try emailing him first and if you get no response, call CU-Boulder (same department) to see if they can help you locate him. After all, given his advanced age, he could be in assisted living facility of some sort and yet, who knows, may still be corresponding professionally. Good luck! --Erasistratus1 (talk) 10:04, 22 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Can anyone provide a photo for this article?[edit]

Is anyone interested in -- and does anyone know how to -- upload a photo of Hobart Smith for this article? There are several retrievable via Google image search; also see: Copeia Vol. 2004, No. 2, May 5, 2004, pp. 418-424. Anyway, I think it would be a very good idea.--Erasistratus1 (talk) 10:13, 22 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
