In Manga and Anime[edit]

  • In the manga and anime Dragon Ball Z, hitodama are seen frequently as Son Goku (and many other characters) traverse through "The Otherworld" and Hell.
  • In the series Inuyasha the re-animated priestess, Kikyo, is sustained by Hitodama which are harvested for her by special "soul carrier" demons.
  • In Soul Eater the souls of defeated characters are depicted as Hitodama.

Until someone can actually find references for this information I am leaving it here. If anyone with more knowledge of Dragon Ball (and whatnot) can find articles referring to these as Hitodama then it should go back in. Otherwise it's just Original Research Duende-Poetry (talk) 22:45, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Once Again, a Random List of Anime With No References[edit]

Why even pay attention to this? It would be one thing if they were written, say, as an actual article with reference and citation, showing that the person who put it here wasn't an obsessive 12 year old who has never heard of spell-check. But there is this bizarre subculture in Wikipedia who seems to feel that if it is drawn as a cartoon it must be Mythology even though authors like Rumiko Takahashi have gone on record to say they take artistic liberties with the creatures they come up with (http://www.sehrch.com/?q=%28type:Works+By+Rumiko+Takahashi%29) and yet the rest of us suffer because of articles like Hitodama represent what Wikipedia is to the world ... more than just a bit of a joke. I must express that adding dozens of cn tag in the article is quite rude and childish. And a cn tag about the name? Look at all those links to other language pages with citations, how on earth do you need a citation for the name? The original page also got a source page, and in it are multiple citations with quite a lot of source for all those cn tags you placed. If you have time adding those tags, can you stop doing so, and start looking into the sources others have provided, or if you have no time, just add an overall tag like {{unreferenced}} or other WP:CTT message boxes on top, which is quite sufficient and enough to draw others attention. Last time I see someone adding cn tags to every line in an article was during an edit war and dispute, please don't do this in any circumstances. —Preceding signed comment added by MythSearchertalk 16:11, 26 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup[edit]

Generally, when every single line lacks a citation, it would probably be best to remove them all and just put the "it has no sources" template up. Unless someone objects or does it first, i'll change it in a couple days. 74.132.249.206 (talk) 08:54, 26 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
