  • Article is not long enough -- I'm also starting to wonder if WP:NOTNEWS applies here. Kingoflettuce (talk) 13:26, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: The article is being [| considered for deletion] in accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policy. We should wait for consensus before making a final decision. Thanks RV (talk) 08:39, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • to expand on the above review, pending the AfD outcome, article is new but not long enough, QPQ has (not) been done (exempt), hook is verified and interesting. No evidence of copyvio Kingoflettuce (talk) 00:28, 2 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • Kingoflettuce, HenryTemplo is new to DYK, so please can you explain how you calculated the article's length and why it is too short. Using javascriptkit.com and excluding headers, I get 1548 characters as of 30 March, which is above the 1500 minimum. When submitted on 26 March it had 1485, which was too short.
    • HenryTemplo, as this is your first DYK nomination, you don't need to review another nomination as a quid pro quo (QPQ), but it is useful to mention that you are exempt to help the reviewer. TSventon (talk) 12:42, 2 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
      • Yes, if I'm not mistaken quotations don't count towards the 1.5k Kingoflettuce (talk) 13:02, 2 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
        • Kingoflettuce, that makes sense, but the explanation was helpful, since I am a novice as a DYK reviewer. I now make the count 1448. TSventon (talk) 15:09, 2 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • AFD was closed as keep, so the nomination can now resume. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 12:07, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • HenryTemplo, I believe the prose still needs to be increased to 1500 characters before the nomination can pass. TSventon (talk) 13:28, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
      • Rightio, I’ll do that right away. Thanks for your help! HenryTemplo (talk) 14:32, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
        • All done, I make the total length exactly 1500 characters, excluding headers, quotes etc. HenryTemplo (talk) 14:47, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
          • HenryTemplo, I would recommend aiming for a bit more than 1500 characters, otherwise someone could remove a word, or the reviewer could use a different tool, and the article would be back below 1500. You could add to the last two sentences to explain the term pareidolia and that it was, presumably, an example of viral marketing going wrong. TSventon (talk) 15:51, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • I think that this Article is subtitle for DYK now, it’s long enough, new enough, and within the policies. Do correct me if I’m wrong! HenryTemplo (talk) 11:00, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • Kingoflettuce, are you happy to approve this now? TSventon (talk) 11:04, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
      • Hook fact needs to be directly cited + try to avoid overciting Kingoflettuce (talk) 11:08, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
        • HenryTemplo, I have added the Guardian reference to the body of the article and changed "resold" to "offered on eBay", which I think is what the article is saying. Can you adjust the wording of the article as you see fit, add an adjusted hook to match, then ping Kingoflettuce to see if they are happy. TSventon (talk) 22:37, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Kingoflettuce Is the hook all good for DYK? HenryTemplo (talk) 18:17, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Ping Kingoflettuce, Is the hook all good for DYK? HenryTemplo, you need to add a username and sign in the same edit to generate a ping. TSventon (talk) 19:26, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • HenryTemplo, Kingoflettuce has not edited since 13 April, they may be busy over Easter, I am sure they will respond when they are back. TSventon (talk) 09:52, 17 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Hook now seems fine. Given that this has survived AfD, was new enuf at the time of nomination, and is now of an acceptable length, I am happy to pass this, tho some cleanup of the article may still be in order. Best wishes, Kingoflettuce (talk) 17:01, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Free image[edit]

How can no free image be available for this? Surely anyone who owns it can take a photo of it? This isn't how fair use should be used. The Rambling Man (Keep wearing the mask...) 16:53, 28 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not a teapot[edit]

A teapot and a tea kettle are not the same thing. A tea kettle is used to boil water whereas a teapot is used to brew tea using the water boiled in a tea kettle. This item is a tea kettle. 80.3.133.31 (talk) 17:53, 31 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
