Something to be the backbone of the article[edit]

Hey all, check out this link http://koreanhistory.forumwise.com/koreanhistory-post-381.html#381 I have a bunch of links and book sources for us to work off of, any member who is a member of the forum and contribute to what should be included or on this disussion page whatever suits best. Jegal 23:24, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

Do you think we should include Korean Americans/Gyopos? or strictly Korean Nationals? Jegal 01:15, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Outside Korean involvement would be minimal & mottled down by more influential foreigners or the bureacracy. Just within Korea. (Wikimachine 02:58, 3 July 2007 (UTC))[reply]

the article's been spelled wrong Jegal 02:47, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

We need Images[edit]

We need users to scour the internet for images and get licensing instead of just ripping other pictures off of other articles. Jegal 02:12, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've asked KAIST for their HUBO image. Maybe we could get it. (Wikimachine 05:12, 7 July 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Please Stop Japanese[edit]

Please read WP:CIVIL. In addition, please see Hypocaust. I'm not sure why you keep changing the article to read in a misleading manner, suggesting somehow that the world thinks one way when it clearly doesn't. As Koreans, we have much to be proud of in the line of our history of science and technology, but claiming the world recognizes us to be the "world's first" inventors of something when it doesn't reduces the credibility of the article and people's opinion of Koreans in general. --Cheers, Komdori 21:45, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Komdori, I put that in, & I'm confident that whatever's in that newspaper article is what's said in this article. Let me clarify:
1) Koreans are generally recognized to have invented that heating system.
2) However a recent discovery challenges that claim into question.
3) While there is possibility that the heating system was invented by the same people who then migrated to North America, however the lack of more similar systems around the area make that possibility unlikely.
If you're trying to say that Koreans did not invent the heating system first, well that's what this article currently says - that while Koreans are widely recognized in the academia for having invented the heating first, it may in fact be untrue.

Fair use rationale for Image:Korean-star-map.PNG[edit]

Image:Korean-star-map.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
