Articles and section allocation[edit]

Proposed: the Fatimid section at the end of this article History of early Islamic Tunisia be detached and moved, along with the sections on the Zirids and some Berber background material found in the History of medieval Tunisia, to form a new Article History of Fatimid and Zirid Tunisia. The Fatimids do not appear to be in the "early" history of Islam in Tunisia, being clearly a subsequent appearance of muslim adherants from the east. The Zirids are naturally to be combined with the Fatimids as the Zirid dynasty first served as Fatimid viceroys in Tunisia. Elfelix (talk) 20:18, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

History of Carthage merge[edit]

For anyone interested, there is a discussion regarding merging History of Punic-era Tunisia: chronology and History of Punic-era Tunisia: culture into History of Carthage being held at Talk:History of Carthage#Merge. There is a new suggestion that material from those articles could be merged into History of Tunisia. SilkTork ✔Tea time 10:01, 7 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
