Recent edits[edit]

A number of edits have recently been made in good faith to this featured list that threaten its featured status. Material has been added within cited passages that is not contained in the references, thereby making the citations invalid. The lead has been re-formatted, creating sections; but sections are inappropriate in the lead to a list (as distinct from an article). Phrases such as "as of 2010" have been deleted and replaced by comments such as "now"; these will not be valid in future, and we need to now at what point in time the information was valid. It is therefore with some regret, regarding the time spent on the edits, that I am reverting to list back to its former state.

But some good has come of it. The list contains 18 chapels; the edits have brought to my attention that the total is now 20. So more work to do on the list! --Peter I. Vardy (talk) 09:59, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
