Independent grammar?[edit]

I know that many former grammar schools in the UK have become independent schools, but retained their old names, but does this mean they are now independent grammar schools? Surely a grammar school is by definition a selective state school? FloydPink99 (talk) 09:17, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
