The correct spelling of "Hillevi Rombin"[edit]

There is no question "Hillevi Rombin" is correct--I have verified it with her family, it's on her gravestone. I believe it is inappropriate for us to make references to other websites that may have carelessly misspelled her name. I'm sure if we randomly picked 100 unusual names, we could find examples of misspellings all over the Web for every one of them. Are we to report when every name has misspellings? Obviously not. We should endeavor to be the definitive source and state what we know to be correct. In this case, we know what is correct and we should leave it at that, letting other people correct their own mistakes. Wikipikiliki 02:25, 4 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am from Sweden, and there's no name spelled Hellevi here. Real name is Hillevi.

Could someone tell me why there are two unlisted references to IMBd. I started to remove them but thought I would inquire first. Also G. David Schine Is Married". New York Times. October 23, 1957. http://select.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=F10F16FA3955137A93C1AB178BD95F438585F9&scp=2&sq=%22G.+David+Schine%22&st=p. Retrieved 2008-03-11, is an inappropriate reference to a site that requires payment to view. The second (listed) reference actually only covers her death, crash, her husband, in a paragraph, In 1957, Mr. Schine married Hillevi A. K. Rombin, a native of Aofta, Sweden, who was a Swedish national decathlon champion before becoming Miss Universe of 1955. The couple leave five children: Mark, the twin of Berndt; Vidette Perry, Kevin, Axel and Lance. Also surviving are four grandchildren.. There were two edits on February 28, and March 1, 2011, that did not provide references. I assume since this information was added it obviously had a source that could have been included.

February 28, 2011: From 1996 to 2011, she was the only deceased Miss Universe title holder since the pageant's inception.
March 1, 2011: From 1996 to 2011, she was the First deceased Miss Universe title holder since the pageant's inception., and leads to a question of which is correct? When information is found that corroborates a statement it should be included (source or reference) so another editor does not delete the whole sentence. IMBd[edit]

While I can understand wanting to include interesting information there are two references that are listed as unreliable. IMBd is specifically listed under WP:USERGENERATED, a Wikipedia content guideline, as unreliable with the "exception of material on such sites that is labeled as originating from credentialed members of the sites' editorial staff, rather than users". With this in mind would someone point out the author of the two links, "originating from credentialed members of the sites' editorial staff, rather than users", allowing the exception to prevent deletion of the listed references. The content guideline agrees with the Wikipedia policies, WP:QS and WP:SELFPUBLISH. Otr500 (talk) 03:33, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
