Is there any reason to use Culture with a capital C here? Dekimasu 15:14, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The way I see it, "Higashiyama Bunka" is a proper noun. Even if we do translate it and go for "Higashiyama Culture" (and, please god, I hope no one suggests "Eastern Mountain Culture"), I still think it's a proper noun, referring the particular culture of that time and place, and not any culture that could happen in/on any Higashiyama at any time. I think "Higashiyama period" might be better given Jomon period, etc. Since it was a period in the 15th century, and the article even refers to it as a period, I believe this makes the most sense and is consistent with Template:History of Japan listings. It may even be a good addition to the template. ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 20:49, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alright. That sounds good to me. LordAmeth 21:17, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I was just bold and moved it for the reasons given above. ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 07:19, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
