Doesn't seem to warrant encyclopedic inclusion

This guy developed a corkscrew. It was not necessarily the first, but he apparently had a company for it that manufactured his innovation. However, he was according to the references listed here, primarily a businessman who served on various corporate and university boards (not related to his corkscrew). His having developed the first pull corkscrew, however, seems dubious, and is so far without supporting evidence. The references do not support that conclusion. In fact, 2 of the references contradict one another explicitly about the number of patents this person is attributed with. The official record says 13, an entry by some writers for the National Academy of Engineering on the other hand attribute an enormous number not associated with the USPTO. The reference at Rice University, given here, is compiled on that site by a man who appears to be thoroughly enamored of the subject, as being extraordinary handsome. Is that enough to warrant an entry in an encyclopedia? I rarely find Wikipedia entries susceptible to deletion, but this guy seems to meet the criteria, hands down... Does anybody agree? However, there are enough contradictions here, to warrant further research into this subject's importance, to either substantiate or decline it. The references given here in this article, only provide indirect inferences as to his importance or to directly substantiate the claims made by certain editors. Some of the references merely substantiate his company (Hallen), but do not provide attribution of his direct involvement or the claims presented.
