Clarification[edit]

Honorary canonry: this would not normally mean he gave up his parish in 1884. Most honorary canons have another (paid) clerical post but also have a stall in the cathedral and some duty there occasionally. // Father-in-law: this Kitty Brewster; Table K has spelling "Thompson" so "Tomson" may not be correct depending on the source for it.--Felix Folio Secundus (talk) 14:44, 2 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have already corrected the date when Twells left the Waltham rectory. Thanks for pointing that out. The spelling of 'Tompson' is confirmed by death certificate, marriage certificate etc. (The misspelling was mine!). (Ajsinclair (talk) 10:47, 3 March 2012 (UTC))[reply]
