Just noting that the name of the company in the title of the article is incorrect and I will be adding an edit to fix it. The correct name is Hemlock Semiconductor Operations LLC, or Hemlock Semiconductor for short. In October 2022, Hemlock announced plans to invest up to $375 million in new facilities that will modernize the manufacturing process the company uses to refine its semiconductor-grade polysilicon.
