Would someone be able to explain "atmospheric aberrations"? The linked article is a general article on optical aberrations which does not mention "atmospheric" aberrations and does not make it clear why the time of day would change this. TinyTimZamboni (talk) 03:35, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
This article mentions a measurement that was taken between Mount Saint Helena and Mount Shasta and the distance is listed as 192 miles. The related page [[1]] which links to this page mentions a different measurement and to reduce the chance of confusion I would like for someone to synchronize the two article so they both mention the same measurement or list both on both pages. Mechanism of the Device[edit]
Would it be valuable to give a description of how this devices works? Most of the content of the article is about when or where it was used but there's not much about what makes it a distinct invention.
