Staatliche Museum Berlin[edit]

I'm from Berlin and never heard of the Staatliche Museum. Also searched a bit. There are a lot of Staatliche Musea here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.222.228.140 (talk) 16:10, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What caused the explosions?[edit]

The article indicates that this event has occured 3 times in the region, including once in 1817. The article should state any reasonable hypothesis as to what is actually occuring. It doesn't sound like a regular Earthquake. Robert Brockway 05:41, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Location[edit]

Is it the co-ordinates or is Google Earth wrong? Entering these coordinates brings up an inland location... whereas undersea was expected. Just wondering. 92.5.38.126 (talk) 22:43, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Are these numbers correct?[edit]

The same lengths are used for Helike's holdings and for how deeply underground it sank. Did it really sink 12 Stadia (2 kilometers) underground?

Yes, I have been to the site. It is inland now. That's why it was difficult to locate--historical documents led researchers to look underwater. - dscharf —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dscharf (talkcontribs) 23:50, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What caused it?[edit]

Did it sink for no reason? Did the land fall apart or did the water rise? Was it global warming? 66.183.58.186 (talk) 05:33, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
