I have amended the 'in Scotland...' section, as the use of the term Rector is limited to a comparatively small number of (usually) independent schools.

Deputy Head vs Head teacher

I'm speaking from the POV of an Englishman who is familiar with the English educational system so please let me know whether it's different in other countries but here, the Deputy head is different to the Head teacher therefore I think it's appropriate that a separate page is created for information on Deputy Heads.
