Reason for Article[edit]

Noticed this is worthy of an article in its own right given the problems that caused the ferry to cease running and the efforts needed to restart it. There is some information on the Hayling Island page that will be moved and placed here.

People are welcome to contribute to draft or final article ... Should you have connection to the ferry especially the current operation it's better to point out issues or suggestions on this talk page to avoid any WP:COI

I have hit the point where I felt need to go out of draft. Doing this article has spawned creation of at least 3 other Hayling related supporting pages and content addition to others. There are some touches to be done .. but I might get distracted and do something else completely different. So its a WP:BOLD publish.

Reopening under Baker.....[edit]

I have filled what appeared to be an omission earlier in the article but there is a mistake here concerning a new something that I cannot correct without the authorities cited. Can anyone who has them complete this?Spinney Hill (talk) 13:58, 11 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

History and Boats[edit]

I have done some copy editing including filling some missing words and rephrasing. Some however is a bit conjectural and there may be some better information in the sources. Would someone be able to look at these.. Was the restart in 1985 due toi the County Council proposal in which case that could come first? Spinney Hill (talk) 08:59, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
