STOP THE RENAMING OF HAWN STATE PARK[edit]

I am the great grand-daughter of Mary Coffer Hawn. Sherry Hawn Welch is the youngest daughter of AJ and Mary Hawn. Helen Coffer Hawn was the second wife of AJ Hawn. She was willed the tract of land due to the sudden death of AJ. Helen did not sacrifice and help build the farm business, she only inherited by marriage and willed the land to the state of Missouri to keep the seven heirs of AJ from taking claim to the land. Missouri should recognize women and their contributions, please give credit where credit is due..... Mary Coffer Hawn is the actual contributor. If renaming the park in honor of a woman I propose Mary Coffer Hawn State Park or Sherry Hawn Welch state park.
