Definition of mean curvature[edit]

I think it is important to point out that the definition of mean curvature for the Hawking mass should be where is the second fundamental form of . In the linked Wikipedia article the mean curvature is defined as . Only with the former definiton one obtains that the Hawking mass of a sphere of Radius has Hawking mass equal to in the Schwarzschild metric.
