A number of web sources say that Andrew Bloxam first collected a specimen in 1824. However, this can't be correct, as he wasn't in the Hawaiian Islands until 1825; see the articles on him and on HMS Blonde (1819) and the references therein. Peter coxhead (talk) 14:42, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
