Confusion[edit]

I think there are multiple Harvey Rexford Hitchcocks. The misionary to Hawaii lived (1800–1855) so this one could not be the Harvey Rexford Hitchcock, Jr. who was his son, born July 22, 1835 and died 1891, married Alice Field Hardy (1852-?).

I do see another Harvey Rexford Hitchcock Sr who married Dorcas Ilae October 29, 1928, and another H. R. Hitchcock who married Eliza Hennessey June 10, 1913 which might be this one. Territory records show H. Rexford Hitchcock who was in the Kingdom of Hawaii legislature 1862-1870, and lived on Hawaii island, while H. Rexford Hitchcock 2nd lived on Molokai 1916 to 1931, could be this one. Need to keep working on it. W Nowicki (talk) 21:27, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I did some looking into various genealogies and think I have it now. This was great grandson of the Rev. W Nowicki (talk) 23:56, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Insanity[edit]

Suggestion - Consider revising the wording or at least reference to a more modern terminology like PTSD or Schizophrenia. Terms like went 'went insane', 'suffered from shell shock' etc. are antiquated terminologies that may paint the wrong picture of the disorder. Quoting Directly a news article or antiquated medical term but with explanation would be more enlightening to a reader than than an older and more vague term.RandNoel (talk) 07:43, 21 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
